Village Care
Inclusion and contribution are at the core of what we do.
For us, cinema is a means of entertainment for everyone:
- Sensory friendly screenings: specially adapted, sensory-friendly movie screenings designed for individuals on the autism spectrum and those with sensory processing issues
- Accessible screenings for wheelchair users: designated wheelchair spaces in all cinemas and auditoriums. Hosting of a sports federation for people with disabilities
- Private screenings for Make-A-Wish Greece as part of fulfilling children's wishes
- Free screenings for young cinephiles from "Τhe Smile Οf Τhe Child" and "Kivotos Tou Kosmou"
- Support for the therapeutic community of KETHEA "Strofi", offering free tickets to aid in the reintegration of recovering individuals
Through the free screening of social messages on the big screen, we contribute to achieving noble goals:
- "Médecins du Monde" - screening spots with the central message of access to healthcare for all
- ELEPAP - screening of the "First Step" spot by Anna to raise public awareness and support the organization's work
- Smile of the Child - action against bullying through the screening of the short film "Nefeli's Thoughts"
- Educational screenings promoting sports and overcoming limits through the film "Our Limits", which features a Greek athlete with disabilities who completed the Ironman challenge
We participate in and support sports, cultural, and philanthropic events:
- Volos Half Marathon: a 500-meter race for elementary school children named "Village Cinemas Fun Run"
- No Finish Line in Athens and Thessaloniki to support the organization Together for Children
